SewaJyoti (सेवाज्योति) came into being from the two Sanskrit-Hindi words, ‘Seva’ (Selfless Service) and ‘Jyoti’ (Flame or Light).
If you wonder what you can do to live your life the best, then it is by ‘Feeding Everyone, Being Kind to Everybody, and Serving Anyone who Needs You’
The very basis of this organization reflects upon the principles of ‘Sewa’ outlined by our ancient Shastris or philosophers and spread a Beam of Light of hope and happiness to whomever we serve.
SewaJyoti is not just any social service organization, but it strives to inculcate spirituality in its service offerings. It is because the founder of SewaJyoti, Shree Gautam R Morarka has a deep faith in the principles of Lord Rama:
It means: There is no sacred religion than helping others, and there is no worst sin than hurting others.
Shree Gautam R Morarka through SewaJyoti tries to provide service to those who cannot meet the basic needs of life, such as food, education, medicine, clothing, and shelter.
Shree Gautam R Morarka is the Managing Director of Dwarikesh Sugar Industries Limited, a credible industrialist, spiritualist, and son of former parliamentarian, Late Shree R.R. Morarka.
Sh. Gautam R Morarka has continually worked towards improving the community by contributing and volunteering in the fields of rural education, healthcare, women and children welfare, social-emotional development, and environmental, industrial, and agricultural development.
He has received the prestigious ‘Bhamashah Award’ twice in the years 2006 and 2011 from the Government of Rajasthan for his unparalleled contribution and commitment towards human and social development.
“If we truly want to see a developed India, then all of us, especially the millennials, should not ignore the villages and small towns”, Sh. Gautam R Morarka says.
“The development process should first focus on improving the geographical areas that have been generally overlooked by entrepreneurs, government, and industrialists. It is the only way to make a visible and meaningful impact on people’s lives. The villages and small towns hold the nation culturally.”
Shree Gautam R Morarka established two social service organizations in the memory of his parents, Late Sh. Radheshyam Morarka and Late Smt. Narbada Devi Morarka:
R Morarka Charitable Trust (1994) and Narbada Devi Morarka Charitable Trust (1995)
